Pandav is Menswear ethic and party-wear showroom, which is situated in midst of Baroda city. The approach for this space was to render the ambience with single or similar tone of colour and draw attention to the numerous colours and textures of the fabrics. The approach for the showroom unites into one with a modest staircase design.
At ground floor level, the colour palette for party-wear is quite contemporary with warmer tones and elements, complementing the display of garments. The slate flooring forms the ideal canvas to explore the concept. This slate floor juxtaposes with the warmth of shera ply toned in grey shades and veneer finished in light brown shade for natural appearance. Each rack is designed separately with a unique branding, graphic and quotes of famous personality. Racks are consciously introduced in warmer tones to highlight the display. Open ceiling concept in some part of the showroom complements the volume of the space.
While at first floor, the colour palette is very traditional and classic rich tone, reflecting the display. The space of this floor is richly layered and textured with a judicious mix of veneer in furniture, Italian marble in floor and customised system of hanging jali, which extends into the choice of furniture, furnishings and artwork. Jali patterns is used extensively to enhance the ambience and give a Indian feel to the space.
Overall, the showroom has counter display with one studio sitting at one end for their elite clients. Each and every furniture has been executed on site. Meticulous attention to details and functionality of the space has made it more meaningful for the end-users.
